AJ was a smiley, happy, healthy and athletic 14 year old, who sadly after an 8 month long battle with childhood cancer, passed away. Bob, AJ's dad, put together a petition to raise awareness and ultimately funding specifically for childhood cancer research. Please have a look, sign the petition and spread the word!!! His goal is to reach 1,000,000 signatures and your signature can make a difference!

Would you like to participate in a very special project? Felicia from The LIttlest Heroes Project is in the process of writing a very special book and she would like to include your child in this project. Not only do you have the opportunity to share your story and to inspire others through your journal / blog, but now you can be part of a book and continue to inspire so many people out there! Please click here and read all about this wonderful initiative.
Bianca White participates in the Beads of Courage programme. This is a wonderful, wonderful programme. Every bead represents a procedure, treatment, test, hospital stay, special achievements. Bianca loves her beads and she's come to realise what they mean and represents and when you ask her why she gets her beads she will say "because I am so very brave". This is a great way to look back on your story! The colours of the beads were specifically designed so that both boys and girls could participate!
